Cookie Statement

Short version: karfolio.com sets no cookies for visitors, and the app uses none at all. That is why you never see a cookie banner here.

Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. We do not place any, so there is nothing to consent to.

This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising software, no heatmaps, no session recording and no embedded third-party services that follow your behaviour. Nothing about your visit is stored on your device beyond what your browser needs to render the page.

The app

The Karfolio app is not a browser and uses no cookies. It also has:

  • No advertising SDK
  • No analytics SDK
  • No cross-app or cross-site tracking

Because there is no tracking, iOS shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt. If that ever changes — for example if we introduce advertising — we will publish a consent flow first and update this page and the privacy policy before anything is switched on.

Local storage in the app

The app does keep some data on your own device so it does not have to ask you to sign in every time and so it can survive a lost connection: your session token, your draft of an unfinished drive, and cached images. This never leaves your phone, is not readable by anyone else, and disappears when you sign out or uninstall the app. It is not a cookie and is not used to track you.
